Complaints

Last updated 1 October 2026

If something has gone wrong, we want to put it right. Most problems, such as a misprint or a late parcel, are fixed fastest by emailing us first.

Something wrong with an order?

For a misprint, a fault or a print that does not match your preview, see returns and reprints. We reprint free and you do not need to make a formal complaint.

How to complain

Email [email protected] with "Complaint" in the subject line, and include:

  • your name and order number, if it is about an order
  • what went wrong, and when
  • photos, if they help to show the problem
  • what you would like us to do to put it right

If you need to complain another way, for example because email is difficult for you, tell us and we will find a way that works.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days.
  2. A person, not an automated system, looks into what happened.
  3. We aim to give you a full answer within 14 days. If it will take longer, we will tell you why and when to expect it.

If we cannot settle your complaint

If we cannot agree, we will send you our final response in writing (by email). In it, we will give you the name and website of a certified alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider that could deal with your complaint, and tell you whether we agree to use it. ADR is a way to settle a dispute without going to court.

You can also get free, independent advice:

Making a complaint does not affect your legal rights, including your right to take a claim to court. For small amounts, this is usually the small claims track.

Paying by card

Payments are taken by Stripe. If you cannot settle a problem with us, your card provider may also be able to help, for example through a chargeback.
